This Christmas season we're here to help you give the gift of cosiness!
Many of you are already Christmas shopping and some are worried about possible delays, so we thought it might be useful to give you an inside track on what's happening at The British Blanket Company in the run-up to Christmas to help you plan ahead...
LATEST UPDATE 23rd December: We will be dispatching on a reduced schedule over the festive period. Orders will be dispatched intermittently, but please be aware that orders placed between Christmas and New Year, may not be dispatched until the first week of January. Returns and exchanges will be processed after the New Year.
AVAILABILITY
Our brilliant British mills have already woven lots of lovely stock for us and we're restocking our shelves weekly between now and Christmas. While we can't guarantee every design will arrive every week, we've forecasted thoroughly to try and minimise gaps.
BLACK FRIDAY
We have no plans to participate in the Black Friday frenzy - we're all about offering high quality and great value for money all year round. If you'd like to get ahead and shop early with us, you can feel confident we won't slash prices further down the line.
GIFT NOTES & PACKAGING
Order on our website and have a gift shipped directly to the recipient by simply adding their details as the shipping address. While we don't offer a gift wrapping service, we have beautifully-designed thick paper mailing bags that look lovely arriving in the post. You can also add a gift message during checkout.
EXTENDED EXCHANGES
All orders placed between 8th November and 24th December can be exchanged for a different design of the same price until 7th January 2022. For refunds, our usual 14 day policy applies.
GIFT CARDS
If you're really not sure which blanket or scarf they'll like best, we sell digital gift cards too!
COURIER NEWS
The couriers we use (Royal Mail and DPD) are delivering most parcels within their usual speedy timescales. However, a few local areas are under pressure due to Covid and driver shortages. Christmas disruptions are possible so we recommend placing your order as soon as you can to avoid anxiety. Our superstar warehouse team dispatch orders daily Monday - Friday and we have added extra shifts so we can keep up!

Please be aware that carriers are not guaranteeing last order dates this year. The dates below should be taken as guidance only - we recommend ordering as early as possible.
UK *
FREE UK DELIVERY (Royal Mail 2nd Class): 1pm Tuesday 21st December.
1ST CLASS (Royal Mail): 1pm Wednesday 22nd December.
DPD EXPRESS (upgrade or free over £150): 1pm Thursday 23rd December.
OVERSEAS
AUSTRALIA: 1pm Monday 6th December.
USA: 1pm Monday 13th December.
CANADA: 1pm Monday 13th December.
* Please allow at least 2-3 days extra for Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Highlands & Offshore Islands and other remote areas.
