The Cloud Cotton Blanket in Pink Flowers is one of our softest blankets yet. Created in collaboration with lino printmaker Grace Gillespie, and woven in England from sustainable, recycled cotton, it showcases her bold floral design in dusky pink and burgundy. This reversible blanket has a brushed cotton finish and a red stitched edge for contrast.
Designer’s pattern notes: The flowing large scale floral motif is inspired by Grace’s garden, bringing natural beauty and joy to your bed or sofa.
- Machine Wash: Wash your cotton blanket at 30°C on a short cycle. Wash separately.
- Drying: Hang your blanket to dry naturally, then optional short cold tumble dry to fluff up the fibres.
- Pilling: Brushed cotton blankets may occasionally pill. Remove any pills carefully with a fabric shaver or by hand.
- Suitability: Our cotton blankets are not recommended as protective chair / sofa covers as friction leads to premature wear and pilling.

I’ve always dreamt of making my designs on a really large scale, but it’s not always easy, when working with lino. So when the opportunity arose to make my designs into large textile pieces in collaboration with The British Blanket Co, I was really excited and jumped at the chance.

Seeing the final pieces, I am so, so delighted and it’s really interesting to see my work on that scale and see how the designs become almost abstract in shape and colour.
