Cloud Cotton Blanket: Green Prayer Plant
A bold green botanical blanket in brushed cotton
$279.00
The Cloud Cotton Blanket in Green Prayer Plant is wonderfully soft. Designed in collaboration with artist Grace Gillespie, it is made in England from sustainable, recycled cotton. This reversible blanket features her botanical Prayer Plant design in deep green hues. Its brushed finish and contrasting stitched edge add the final touch of comfort.
Designer’s pattern notes: Grace’s design reflects her love of houseplants, with intricate curves that mirror the delicate beauty of the leaves.
- Machine Wash: Wash your cotton blanket at 30°C on a short cycle. Wash separately.
- Drying: Hang your blanket to dry naturally, then optional short cold tumble dry to fluff up the fibres.
- Pilling: Brushed cotton blankets may occasionally pill. Remove any pills carefully with a fabric shaver or by hand.
- Suitability: Our cotton blankets are not recommended as protective chair / sofa covers as friction leads to premature wear and pilling.

I’ve always dreamt of making my designs on a really large scale, but it’s not always easy, when working with lino. So when the opportunity arose to make my designs into large textile pieces in collaboration with The British Blanket Co, I was really excited and jumped at the chance.
I’ve always dreamt of making my designs on a really large scale, but it’s not always easy, when working with lino. So when the opportunity arose to make my designs into large textile pieces in collaboration with The British Blanket Co, I was really excited and jumped at the chance.
Seeing the final pieces, I am so, so delighted and it’s really interesting to see my work on that scale and see how the designs become almost abstract in shape and colour.
Our Lancashire mill fuses innovative sustainable materials with centuries-old weaving traditions. Recycled cotton reduces carbon emissions by 80% compared to virgin cotton.
