Please note: Our recommended last order dates are based on the expected transit times quoted by our carriers, Royal Mail and DPD. However, please be aware that delays may occur over the festive period and, as such, the above order dates are recommendations only and cannot be guaranteed. The British Blanket Company does not accept liability for any delays that may occur. Our hard-working team will continue to dispatch orders up until Thursday 22nd December and re-start on Tuesday 3rd January 2017.

CHRISTMAS 2016 - RETURNS POLICY

Our usual 14 day returns policy will be extended for all orders placed from 1st - 25th December 2016. Items purchased during this period will be eligible for refund or exchange, provided you notify us via email by Friday 6th January 2017. Aside from the above extension, all other terms of our returns policy remain the same. We can only make arrangements for refunds and exchanges with the person who placed and paid for the order. We do not offer any form of store credit for items received as gifts. Re-delivery charges will apply to exchanges. For all returns, please email contact@thebritishblanketcompany.com with the subject line 'Return' detailing your name, order number and which items you wish to return. You must await a reply with instructions before posting back your items to ensure your return can be handled smoothly and quickly.

UK Mainland Delivery

FREE DELIVERY to UK mainland addresses on all orders. Delivery will be made by Royal Mail and takes approximately 2-5 working days. You will be provided with a tracking number when your order is dispatched.

Remote postcodes: if your parcel is very large, additional delivery charges may be required. On any such occasion you will be contacted prior to dispatch and have the option to cancel your order for a full refund.

 

EXPRESS DELIVERY is available to UK mainland addresses. Express Delivery costs £7.95.

We offer a Next Day delivery service when you order before 12 noon Monday - Friday. Express deliveries are made Monday - Friday only. Delivery will be made by DPD.

Orders received after noon, at weekends or bank holidays will be dispatched the following working day.

You will be provided with a tracking number when your order is dispatched and a signature will be required upon delivery.

Express delivery is not available to remote postcodes.

 

OFFSHORE ISLANDS, NORTHERN IRELAND, CHANNEL ISLANDS

Delivery costs £8.95.

This rate applies to the following postcodes: HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3 (Scottish Islands), TR21-TR25 (Isles of Scilly), PO30-PO41 (Isle of Wight), all JE (Jersey), all GY (Guernsey), all BT (Northern Ireland).

Expected delivery is 3-7 working days from dispatch. However, please be aware that Royal Mail does not guarantee this. Express Delivery is not available to these destinations.

We endeavour to dispatch orders received by 12 noon the same working day. Orders received after noon, at weekends or bank holidays will be dispatched the following working day.

We will email you to confirm dispatch and provide you with a tracking number. A signature may be required.

 

EUROPE DELIVERY (INCLUDES ISLE OF MAN)

The delivery and returns policy for EU countries matches that for UK orders. We reserve the right to refuse delivery of particularly large or fragile items. On any such occasion you will be notified and issued a full refund.

Customs charges and taxes are not usually payable on orders sent within the European Union.The British Blanket Company does not accept liability for any local customs charges, handling fees, duty or taxes, or for any delays that may occur if a parcel is held.

Delivery is available for mainland Europe only and does not apply to any offshore islands or territories. Couriers may also refuse delivery to particular remote locations, so please contact us prior to ordering if you are concerned this may apply to your delivery address.

 

USA

Delivery to the USA costs £19.95.

Your items will be sent by Tracked Airmail. International deliveries are dispatched twice a week (Tuesday and Friday). Estimated delivery is 3 - 8 working days from dispatch. You will be provided with a tracking number.

Our delivery prices do not apply to any offshore islands or territories. Couriers may also refuse delivery to particular remote locations, so please contact us prior to ordering if you are concerned this may apply to your delivery address.

Orders containing goods worth less than $200 US will not usually incur import charges. However, please make your own enquiries locally as The British Blanket Company does not accept liability for any local customs charges, handling fees, duty or taxes whatsoever, or for any delays that may occur if a parcel is held.

We reserve the right to refuse delivery of particularly large or fragile items. On any such occasion you will be notified and issued a full refund.

 

Australia

Delivery to the Australia costs £29.95.

DELIVERY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please ensure someone will be at the delivery address to receive your parcel. Please do not leave instructions for parcels to be left in an alternative location (shed, garage, neighbour etc) as we do not accept liability if you do this and fail to receive your parcel.

Sorry, we cannot deliver to BFPO addresses or PO boxes.

During poor weather, industrial action or exceptional demand the stated dispatch and delivery timescales may not apply. We will do everything we can to get your parcel to you as soon as possible, but we do not offer refunds for delays.

Our free delivery service is expected to take 2-5 working days from dispatch. However, Royal Mail states that, on very rare occasions, delivery may take up to 14 working days. Unfortunately, we are unable to pursue claims for lost or delayed orders until this time has elapsed.

Please type and check your delivery address carefully as we cannot be held responsible or cover any associated losses or costs if the order does not arrive due to an incorrect or incomplete address being provided.

Carriers will make every effort to successfully deliver your parcel but, if they cannot obtain a signature or your parcel is not collected from the depot within a certain period, it may be returned to sender. Redelivery charges will then apply.

 
The British Blanket Company works with an expert delivery warehouse and our team begin preparing your parcel for dispatch as soon as your order is received. This means we usually can't change or cancel an order once it has been placed. If you need to amend something please contact us immediately and we will help if we can, but if your order has already been processed changes cannot be made.
