Raffle for Ukraine

Over 3.5 million people have fled their homes to escape the war in Ukraine. We are shocked to hear the news each day and hope to harness the love within The British Blanket Company community to do what we can to help. We’re holding a raffle on Instagram to raise funds for the Disasters Emergency Committee to provide aid to those in need. Every pound donated gives you one entry into the draw to win one of two beautiful blankets.

The Charity

The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) co-ordinates donations for several charities on the ground, including the British Red Cross, Save the Children and Oxfam. This means aid is allocated responsively and efforts are co-ordinated as the situation evolves. Nothing that is donated is deducted, every penny goes directly to the DEC and from there to people in need.

How your donation will help

• £30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month
• £50 could provide blankets for four families
• £100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month

When you donate you will automatically be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a blanket. We have two gorgeous blankets from our pure wool Signature Collection as raffle prizes:

• Ink Blue Signature Herringbone throw
• Saffron Yellow Signature Herringbone throw

The first name drawn will win the blue, the second name drawn will win the yellow. The more you donate, the more chances you have of winning. The fundraiser link is in our Instagram bio, and you can donate between £4 and £41 (these parameters are fixed by Instagram). Every £1 you donate earns you one entry into the raffle. The more money you donate, the more times your name goes into the hat. Please share this widely so we can raise as much as possible!
