Despite the hopeful news of restrictions easing, Mother's Day is still going to look a little different this year. Letting the Mum in your life know how much you appreciate her goes a long way and little gestures of thanks make all the difference. Here are just a few ways you can make Mother's Day special, no matter the distance.

Food is always a delicious idea

Food is symbolic of love when words are inadequate - Aland D. Wolfelt

Who doesn't love good food, and even more so when you don't have to cook it! Why not send a tasty meal or treat right to her door? From beautiful hampers being delivered nationwide, to arranging a delivery from their favourite place local restaurant, this is an easy way to make Mum feel extra special.

Gift her time to herself

If you can, and it's in accordance with guidelines, why not gift Mum a bit of time to herself? Buy her that book she has been eyeing, download her favourite movie or take the kids out for their daily exercise to give her some alone time. Even if you can only give her the chance to escape to another room, a little space in a hectic day will bring her joy.

Gift her a warm hug

Can't be there in person to hug your mum? Gift her with a colourful and cosy wool blanket... we are often told our throws are like a hug you can send in the post!

We might be a little biased, but we truly believe the mother's in your life will not only love our blanket but they need it. Don't trust us? We'll let these reviews do the talking...

No matter what, don't forget to call the mum in your life and wish her a Happy Mother's Day!
