Cosy business: Tips for a fantastic nap

Did you know that there is a National Napping Day? In fact, it takes place yearly on the 15th of March! Being in the business of blankets it's not surprising that we think no nap is complete without a wool blanket, so it seems only fitting that we share our top tips. Naps are a great way to improve both your productivity and your mood so, with that in mind, here are our top tips for the perfect nap!

Get comfortable

Choose a quiet and comfortable space, whether that's your bed or the sofa. After you have the perfect location make sure to grab your softest blankets and wrap yourself up nice and cosy. For an extra soft touch, we recommend our 'Finest Collection' which means all our blankets are supersoft to touch and made from merino wool.

Set the nap mood

Ensure you're free of distractions and interruptions, including putting your phone on silent. If you need some help calming your mind down to get into nap mode, why not listen to a podcast or what about a playlist of random shipping forecasts? We know that it sounds crazy but the tone is so soothing and has been known to cause drowsiness for not just humans but pets too...

Think ahead before you snooze

If you think you're going to need it, make sure you set an alarm to ensure you don't sleep too long. Nothing is worse when your nap turns into a full-on sleeping session! Some sleep experts argue that 20 minutes is the optimum nap time for a quick perk-up.
