Cloud Cotton Blanket: Blue Prayer Plant
A bold blue botanical blanket in brushed cotton
£195.00
Unbelievably soft, the Cloud Cotton Blanket in Blue Prayer Plant is part of our exclusive collaboration with lino printmaker Grace Gillespie. Woven in England from sustainable, recycled cotton, it features Grace’s botanical Prayer Plant design in bold blue tones. This reversible blanket has a beautifully soft, brushed finish, completed with a contrasting stitched edge.
Designer’s pattern notes: Inspired by humble houseplants, the flowing lines of the Prayer Plant design bring nature’s calm and energy into your home.
- Machine Wash: Wash your cotton blanket at 30°C on a short cycle. Wash separately.
- Drying: Hang your blanket to dry naturally, then optional short cold tumble dry to fluff up the fibres.
- Pilling: Brushed cotton blankets may occasionally pill. Remove any pills carefully with a fabric shaver or by hand.
- Suitability: Our cotton blankets are not recommended as protective chair / sofa covers as friction leads to premature wear and pilling.

I’ve always dreamt of making my designs on a really large scale, but it’s not always easy, when working with lino. So when the opportunity arose to make my designs into large textile pieces in collaboration with The British Blanket Co, I was really excited and jumped at the chance.
I’ve always dreamt of making my designs on a really large scale, but it’s not always easy, when working with lino. So when the opportunity arose to make my designs into large textile pieces in collaboration with The British Blanket Co, I was really excited and jumped at the chance.
Seeing the final pieces, I am so, so delighted and it’s really interesting to see my work on that scale and see how the designs become almost abstract in shape and colour.
Our Lancashire mill fuses innovative sustainable materials with centuries-old weaving traditions. Recycled cotton reduces carbon emissions by 80% compared to virgin cotton.
