A limited edition of 50 blankets in rust by artist Angie Lewin ...
The Forest Floor blanket in Rust layers Angie Lewin’s signature ferns, twigs and berries across a richly patterned, recycled cotton throw. Crafted in Lancashire, the reversible design pairs earthy tones with a beautifully soft, brushed feel and green blanket stitch edge. Generously sized and designed exclusively for Angie Lewin’s collaboration with The British Blanket Company.
Angie’s design notes: Forest Floor began with the shapes I noticed underfoot on a favourite woodland walk. The pattern of fallen leaves, ferns and berries was originally a repeating woodblock print on paper, scaled-up and faithfully translated into weaving.
Angie Lewin is a British printmaker, known for her wood engravings, linocuts, screen prints and watercolours inspired by the coastlines, meadows and wild places of Britain.

Her work celebrates ordinary British flora, seasonal change and the beauty found through careful observation of the natural world.

Jacquard woven in Lancashire, where centuries-old weaving techniques capture the complexity of Angie's original work using yarn rather than ink.
