The Forest Floor blanket in Rust layers Angie Lewin’s signature ferns, twigs and berries across a richly patterned, recycled cotton throw. Crafted in Lancashire, the reversible design pairs earthy tones with a beautifully soft, brushed feel and green blanket stitch edge. Generously sized and designed exclusively for Angie Lewin’s collaboration with The British Blanket Company.
Angie’s design notes: Forest Floor began with the shapes I noticed underfoot on a favourite woodland walk. The pattern of fallen leaves, ferns and berries was originally a repeating woodblock print on paper, scaled-up and faithfully translated into weaving.
- Machine Wash: Wash your cotton blanket at 30°C on a short cycle. Wash separately.
- Drying: Hang your blanket to dry naturally, then optional short cold tumble dry to fluff up the fibres.
- Pilling: Brushed cotton blankets may occasionally pill. Remove any pills carefully with a fabric shaver or by hand.
- Suitability: Our cotton blankets are not recommended as protective chair / sofa covers as friction leads to premature wear and pilling.
